The Garth Hotel

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Garth Hotel, standing on the north end of the village square, in the heart of Grantown-on-Spey which is generally regarded as being one of the best preserved examples of an eighteenth century Scottish planned town.

The Garth was built in the 1850’s and began its life as an Inn. Over the years the hotel has prospered with a bustling restaurant split over two levels with the top level giving panoramic views over the gardens and the town whilst the lower level is popular for family or party dining.

The Garth is perfectly placed for a 2 minute walk to the museum and the high street and a 5 minute walk to both The Craig Maclean leisure centre and the Grantown on Spey 18 hole golf course.
