Craigellachie Hotel

Est 1893

[dropcap]B[/dropcap]uilt in 1893, where the rivers Fiddich and Spey come together, The Craigellachie sits in the very heart of Strathspey.

The small hotel has a worldwide reputation as a base for fishing, shooting and relaxing. It is also known for serving the finest of local produce, particularly Strathspey single malt whisky.

Their Copper Dog’s Restaurant menu is strictly farm to fork. They serve good, honest, local Strathspey produce sourced from within a 50mile radius.

At the pub bar you’ll find a selection of beers from local craft breweries alongside the familiar favourite ales. Wines are personally selected, with a few bottles coming direct form their friends in Sancerre.

The Hotel also features ‘The Quaich’, founded in 1894, is home to one of the world’s largest selection of single malt whiskies served by the glass or by bottle.

With well over 700 whiskies to choose from, the collection includes both popular locally made liquids and unique and rare whiskies, which are exclusive to us at the Craigellachie.

The Quaich was originally the locals’ haunt, where Strathspeyers would gather around the fire and swap stories over a dram. Today, we welcome the locals whilst extending our hospitality to whisky enthusiasts from around the globe.
