[dropcap]T[/dropcap]here are a number of Railway Stations in Edinburgh, Edinburgh Waverley (city centre) and Edinburgh Haymarket being the most central. If travelling towards Grantown-on-Spey, Edinburgh Waverley provides links heading north to Aviemore (the closest railway station to Grantown) and onward to Inverness.

Waverley Railway Station is in the centre of Edinburgh and has rail links to Edinburgh Airport. If you have the time the station is a 16 min walk from Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile with all its tourist attractions and shops.
