The UK's wildlife hotel

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]his Highland hotel bearing the ‘Grant’ name has been welcoming guests for many years. In fact, Queen Victoria and Prince Albert stayed the night of 4th Sept. 1860 incognito, arriving by horse-drawn carriage from Balmoral Castle.

The build was part of the original plans for the town created by the Good Sir James (Sir James Grant of Grant).

The building under went refurbishment in 1875 and there were substantial additions in 1897 to 1890.

More recently the hotel was undergone further refurbished and upgraded to offer modern comforts whilst retaining a traditional character.

The Grant Arms has 50 ensuite bedrooms with meeting and conference facilities.

The hotel is also the venue for the Clan Society’s annual dinner ceilidh every August and the Chef Chris Grant is a stalwart member of the Clan Grant Society.
